G-Force sent six athletes to USA Taekwondo Team Trials in Portland, OR. Naomi Alade competed in the Senior division and earned Silver, Jonathan Wang and Eric Morgan competed in the Junior division but unfortunately did not medal.
Three athletes earned Gold and made the National Team! Congratulations!

These three will be representing the USA with the National Team in Queretaro Mexico at the 2025 Pan American Championships in April.
Taylor Jo and Addison will also be attending the 2025 Cadet World Championships in Fujairah, UAE this May!

USA’s largest international event of the year welcomed nearly 1800 competitors representing over 75 countries, to Reno, NV - including 7 G-Force team members. Led by Coach Gianni Giambi, these athletes trained hard in the weeks prior to deliver outstanding performances at this event.

Jonathan Wang and Eric Morgan, both Juniors, had very large divisions. Unfortunately, neither were able to make it to the medal rounds. Derrick Morgan competed in the Youth division.
The 2025 Texas State Championships was a qualifying event for USAT Nationals. G-Force attended the tournament in Forney, Texas with 12 athletes and returned with 9 medals! These nine medalists qualified for the upcoming USAT Nationals which will be held in Ontario, CA this summer!

Queretaro Mexico was host once again for the Pan American Cadet and Junior Championships. National team athletes from countries throughout the Western Hemisphere ascended upon Queretaro for this prestigious event. 2025 USA Taekwondo National Team members Joshua Alade and Addison Anglada (from G-Force) were in attendance and both returned home as Pan American medalists!

G-Force athlete Jonathan Wang attended the USAT American Open West tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he earned a Gold medal after three tough matches!

The 2025 Cadet World Championships held in Fujairah welcomed the top cadet athletes from around the world to compete for the title of World Champion. Team USA was represented by 18 outstanding young athletes on the 2025 National Team, two of which are G-Force team members- Addison Anglada and Taylor Jo Gavin.
Taylor had an incredible run on her day of competition, winning matches against Iran, India, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Korea. Unfortunately Taylor Jo lost her final match against Turkey, but secured a Silver medal for Team USA.
Addison won an exciting first match against a very strong fighter from Jordan, but fell short in her second match versus Turkey. While she may not be bringing home a medal, she returns with an incredible level of confidence and the determination for continued succes.

Three G-Force athletes attended the USAT American Open East event in Richmond, Virginia. The USAT Open events for both East and West regions are qualifiers for the USAT National Championships that will be held late July in Ontario, California.

This weekend USAT also held Team Trials for the Under 21 World Championships, which will be held later this year in Nairobi, Kenya. Naomi Alade competed in this event as well, winning her division! She will be representing the United States in the U21 World Championships!

The 2025 AAU Junior Olympics were held in Houston, Texas this year. This prestigious event brought thousands of talented youth athletes from all over the United States and Canada to the Space City. One event in particular that is held every year at the AAU Junior Olympics, is the AAU National Team Trials for Olympic Sparring. In order to qualify for Team Trials, the athletes must medal at AAU Nationals or be the current defending National Team member.
This year, G-Force had 6 athletes competing for a National Team spot, and are very proud to announce that both Jonathan Wang and Joshua Alade were triumphant!
